It is with deep gratitude that we invite you to read our 2023 annual report. In Nia Tero’s sixth year of working in solidarity with our Indigenous partners and their trusted allies, we were proud to continue our support of the self-determined needs of Indigenous Peoples in their guardianship of collective territories, and to increase our community of allies in this work.
In this report, we share highlights from our programs and partnerships while reflecting on the challenges our Indigenous partners faced, and the opportunities that lie ahead – centering their actions, movements, and ways of being and living.
None of this work happens without deep trust-based and long-term relationships with our Indigenous partners, or without the collaboration and support of our funders. We thank you for being part of this community as we continue working toward our mission in support of Indigenous guardianship globally.
