BGDM x Kin Theory Mixer at BlackStar 2023

Event Description: Join Kin Theory and BGDM (Brown Girls Doc Mafia) for a shared meet-and-greet while we’re at BlackStar Film Festival in Philadelphia, PA. We’ll be at Sampan (124 South 13th St, Philadelphia, PA).

BGDM is a global, multilingual and multiracial network of BIPOC women and non-binary filmmakers and industry professionals ranging from veterans to emerging professionals. We’re proud to partner with them on the first of what we hope is many co-sponsored events. Learn more about BGDM.

This event is for Indigenous and non-Indigenous creators looking for community and connection, as well as professionals moving the needle on inclusion and narrative sovereignty in the industry. You don’t have to be current members of either organization to attend. We can’t wait to meet you! Snacks and your first beverage are on us!
